Air Liquide in Mainland China wins 2019 Best Brand Image award

For the fourth consecutive year, Air Liquide in Mainland China was awarded the "Best Brand Image" of the year at the 2019 China Finance Summit held on 11 July 2019 in Beijing. Honoring companies and individuals that have contributed to the economic growth and social advancement of the country, Air Liquide was one of the 40 leading companies awarded this year.

With nearly 30 years of presence in Mainland China, Air Liquide is committed to the economic and social development of the country. It continues to invest over the long-term, leveraging its strong expertise and innovation to introduce new solutions that help industries operate more sustainably.

In 2018, Air Liquide announced its climate objectives. These aim at reducing by 30% the Group's carbon intensity by 2025 compared to 2015. In China, Air Liquide contributes to sustainability by using clean energy, operating more efficient plants and developing new technologies designed to reduce emissions in its daily operations. Air Liquide is also at the forefront in the use of hydrogen as a clean energy source. 

Relying on its global R&D network, and in particular on its Shanghai Innovation Campus, Air Liquide seeks to provide customized solutions to its Chinese customers so as to address today’s environmental and societal challenges. It also partners with the local innovation ecosystem, especially leading universities, to conduct cutting-edge research.
