Investment commitment to China
Our continuous investment in the electronics materials represents Air Liquide’s confidence in the growth of the Electronics industry in China and demonstrates our commitment to developing our best technologies and talents to support the fast-growing electronics industry here in China.
In 2007, Air Liquide China invested in the construction of its first Electronics Material Center in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu with an investment of 73 million US dollars so far, providing localized high-quality products and solutions for the high-end semiconductor industry.
In order to meet the growing demand of Chinese electronic customers, Air Liquide invested to build the second Electronics Material Center in Meishan, Sichuan in 2019, which has already started operations. Leveraging the expertise of other 11 Electronics Material Centers around the world, Air Liquide China contributes to the high-tech industrials and the economic development in the Midwestern Region.
Reaching for higher quality
Our quality team focuses on tightening the control criteria for the production chain, in line with the increasing customer demands, while supporting the industry’s quest to produce smaller and more cost-effective technical devices.
In addition, we leverage the big data derived from our digitally connected plants to drive continuous improvements in our operations through our Performance Analytics Center. The laboratories set up in Electronics Material Centers Zhangjiagang and Meishan can conduct comprehensive analysis of various specialty gases to ensure reliable quality, and serve customers nationwide.
