Air Liquide China listed on the "2024 GoldenBee CSR China Honor Roll"

On June 14, Air Liquide China won the “ESG Competitiveness · Carbon Peak & Neutrality Pioneer Award” for its CSR practices and contributions to industrial decarbonization, during the 19th International CSR/ESG Forum in Beijing where the “2024 GoldenBee CSR China Honor Roll” was announced. In the meantime, the case submitted by Air Liquide China – Investing in and building the largest hydrogen filling center to facilitate energy transition in the Yangtze River Delta – is compiled into the “GoldenBee CSR Cases 2024”.

Hosted by GoldenBee ThinkTank and the China Sustainability Tribune, the “GoldenBee CSR China Honor Roll” aims to recognize enterprises that make outstanding contributions to the sustainable development of China, which is one of the longest-established and most authoritative CSR awards in China. This is Air Liquide China’s third time on the roll after 2015 and 2020. 

As a leader in the hydrogen sector, Air Liquide covers the entire value chain - from production to storage, transportation, and end uses. In March 2022, Air Liquide China, Shanghai Shenergy Innovation & Development Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Investment Co., Ltd. signed an investment agreement to build a hydrogen filling center with a capacity of 24 tonnes per day in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP). Designed to utilize the raw hydrogen from the production process of upstream manufacturers in SCIP. In Phase I, the center will supply high pressure low-carbon hydrogen for mobility sector customers in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta. Now the first phase of Phase I project is under commissioning, expected to be operational in the second half of 2024.
