Air Liquide supplied gases to WorldSkills Shanghai 2026

Air Liquide China was the industrial gas supplier for WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 from September 23 to 26, 2026. The company provided diverse gas products and services which ensured the technical excellence and quality of the competitors’ workpieces for key competition categories.

Known as the "Skills Olympics", WorldSkills is the largest and most prestigious vocational skills competition globally. The WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 attracted over 1,400 competitors from more than 70 countries and regions.

Under this gas sponsorship, Air Liquide China supplied a wide spectrum of high-purity industrials gases, including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, acetylene, propane and ARCAL welding gas mixtures to four skill contest sectors: Welding, Industrial Mechanics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, and Jewellery Fabrication. Its gas products met rigorous technical specifications in terms of purity, uniformity and safety, which effectively helped the competitors to minimize defects in gas processes and ensured the highest quality standards of their workpieces.

Beyond gas supply, the company also hosted the Welding "Try-a-Skill" Interactive Station. Designed for young students and industry visitors, the station offered immersive experiences in a safe, simulated environment, showcasing gas application in welding craftsmanship in advanced manufacturing.
