Air Liquide China kicks off 2014 “Green Action”

On March 18, 2014, led by Marcelo Fioranelli, President & CEO of Air Liquide China, around 30 employees from Air Liquide China joined the tree-planting activity held at Shanghai Caohejing High-Tech Park, together with the staff from Caohejing High-Tech Park Development Corporation.

This highlights the 2014 Air Liquide China "Green Action" , which aims to increase the employees' awareness of environmental protection. As an annual event organized by the company since 2009, the "Green Action" has gained more and more response from its staff over the six years. Last year, it involved over 400 employees from 24 sites across China as well as its customers, suppliers and local communities in various tree-planting activities held in Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Wuxi, Nanjing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Dalian, etc.

Responsibility is one of Air Liquide's core values. The company is always committed to developing local economies, protecting the environment, and contributing to communities. Under its Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) umbrella program, namely "Air Liquide Care",  in addition to "Green Action" , Air Liquide China also promotes other initiatives such as "Air Liquide Computer Classroom" , through which the company provides recycled computers and training courses to help the primary school students at rural communities.
