Air Liquide (China) Holding Co., Ltd awarded for long-term contribution to China

Air Liquide (China) Holding Co., Ltd recently received two awards recognizing its long-term presence in and promotion of economic development in Mainland China, at events commemorating the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up.

On November 28, Air Liquide (China) Holding Co., Ltd received "40 YEARS ON: Multinational Companies in Shanghai Excellence Award" at the Reform and Development Forum organized by Shanghai Daily. Air Liquide (China) Holding Co., Ltd was among around 40 leading foreign-invested companies from a wide range of industries receiving the award.

Less than one week earlier, the company was also named as a "Model Promoter for Local Development" at the 2018 Petroleum and Chemical Industry Leaders Summit in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The event was organized by China Chemical Industry News to review the major achievements of the reform and opening-up of the petroleum and chemical industry over the past four decades.

Entering Mainland China in 1916 and supplying air separation units to the local market since the 1970s, Air Liquide today operates nearly 90 plants in over 40 cities in Mainland China.
